Case Study 1)
Improving Uptime, Security & Reliability for a Critical 24/7 Application
The Challenge
The client relied on critical software that needed to remain available around the clock. However, the application was hosted in a local data center that lacked the environmental controls, security restrictions, and infrastructure needed to support it reliably.
The application also had several single points of failure, creating unnecessary risk to availability and business operations.
Our Approach
IT-PBS worked directly with the client's software vendor to design a new infrastructure capable of supporting the application securely while allowing for future growth.
Our team built a new data center environment within a professional colocation facility and carefully migrated the client's entire application infrastructure. The migration was completed with less than two hours of downtime.
We also implemented secure remote access technology, allowing authorized users to connect to the application from approved locations.
The Results
The client achieved 99.9% application uptime, along with significant improvements in security, performance, and overall infrastructure reliability.
The new environment also provided a more scalable foundation for a critical application the organization depends on 24/7.
Case Study 2)
Rebuilding an Aging IT Environment for Better Performance & Security
The Challenge
After working with a previous IT provider, the client was left with an aging and poorly managed technology environment. Critical infrastructure was outdated, some virtual hosting systems were unlicensed and no longer supported, and limited cybersecurity controls had created several areas of concern.
At the same time, the client needed a secure way to publish internally developed applications and make them accessible to users across the organization.
Our Approach
IT-PBS conducted a detailed review of the client's existing environment and developed a phased infrastructure plan designed to minimize disruption and unnecessary downtime.
Our team built new virtual hosting infrastructure in parallel with the existing environment and migrated systems to newer, properly licensed, and secured servers.
We consolidated services, removed obsolete infrastructure, and replaced unmanaged equipment with professionally managed technology.
New cybersecurity technologies, vulnerability management measures, and security policies were also implemented to strengthen the client's overall security posture.
Finally, we deployed a secure remote application and desktop solution, allowing authorized users to access published applications and work securely from different locations.
The Results
The client gained a faster, more secure, and professionally managed IT environment.
The organization was also able to securely publish its custom applications and provide users across the company with reliable access to the tools and desktops they needed, regardless of location.
Case Study 3)
Securely Connecting Multiple Remote Locations
The Challenge
The client operated multiple remote locations that needed to communicate and securely transmit data between sites.
Each location used different connectivity technologies, ranging from fiber connections to Starlink. The environment also required strict controls to ensure that only approved network traffic could move between locations while all unnecessary communication remained blocked.
The client additionally needed greater visibility into potential cybersecurity intrusions and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
Our Approach
IT-PBS worked with the client to design a secure multi-site connectivity strategy and develop a structured deployment plan.
Our team procured, pre-configured, and deployed the necessary telecommunications equipment to each remote location while assisting with installation and implementation.
We securely connected the locations using encrypted VPN tunnels and configured strict traffic controls to allow only necessary communication between sites.
The network equipment was also configured for ongoing monitoring to improve visibility into cybersecurity threats, intrusions, and potential vulnerabilities.
The Results
The client successfully connected multiple offices through a secure, controlled network environment.
Teams could reliably transmit data between locations while maintaining strict security restrictions and greater visibility into the health and security of the network infrastructure.
